• twitter-do

I signed up on twitter a couple of weeks ago, but didn't really get much use out of it. However it seems as though some other castle folk are signing up so it might just get interesting. I'll probably stay on there until the myspace kids think it's cool. Update: If you want to add me, http://twitter.com/chriso

  • Dynamic Language Runtime

I asked my Ruby question on the Castle Devel mailing list and Ayende pointed me to this. One of my first use cases for a Dynamic language on the CLR would be to have something like Rails ActiveRecord. Well my day just keeps getting better because I just noticed Dynamic ADO.net. It is built around Ado.net entities, but I'm sure ...

  • Meeting Times

Hi all, been forever since we've had a meeting so I figure we should change that. As you can see the site has been upgraded (this was long over due we were about 3 versions behind) and things seem to be much more usable here so hopefully that will help things. Taken from http://silverlight.net Microsoft® Silverlight is a cross-browser, cross-platform plug-in for delivering the next generation of .NET based ...

  • Something for my wishlist

I want a bugtracking / project management application that is all accessible from the web but can still be managed via email. So that as developers are having feature discussions over email the project app is taking each email and adding it as another comment (accepting the HTML formatting would be a plus) to the ticket. That would really help ...

  • Ruby IDE

At this weeks user group meeting I gave people an overview of the ruby language and some of the coolness it can do. One of the questions brought up was that of a Ruby IDE. Well I mentioned Ruby in Steel, FreeRide and RadRails but oh how I wish OSCON had been last week. John Lam announced today what he's been secretly working ...
