  • Mayo: Damn it!

At long last we heard something from the Mayo Clinic about the problem 8 or so MD's I'd already seen in 3 states couldn't figure out. They agreed with one quack who I saw (and later fired) for far longer than I should of who thought that my problems were likely of type of somatoform disorder...

  • More waiting

Not hearing anything from HD#2's offices nor from the Mayo Clinic regarding my last visit , I gave HD#2 a call last week... and again yesterday to see if everything had been sent out, if the required letter of medical necessity had been written and sent to my insurance company and when/if I should...

  • HD #2 re-re-re-re-re-visit

Given HD (hand doctor) #4 being out of ideas other than having me see someone else on the east coast, today I saw HD #2 again for the first time since late may as it was he who referred me to HD #4 before we looked at external options... and external options it looks like it will be. • Bone Scan

In past whenever the vampires from the blood bank would show up at my school or work I'd make it a point to go out and give a pint or two (I've got more than enough) and never had any problem... until ~18 months ago when I felt unbelievably light headed and broke into a light cold sweat during...

  • Bone scan and blood tests scheduled

When neurologist #3 suggested a bone scan I asked to delay it for a month or so so that I could re-aggravate my hands with a month or so of 'normal use' and am now ready to go in for the tests at 7:30 on Wednesday morning in Sioux Falls. Yea for getting up nice and early! I am quite happy that...
